Waterslide Decals

Waterslide decals are printed on 12.5"x18" sheets with an image area of 11"x17". We print primarily for OEMs but do service decorators, and small organizations. We do not charge per decal. Our minimum print quantity is ten sheets with price breaks at 25, 50, 100 and 500 sheets. The more motifs per sheet the less your cost per motif. Normal production time is between three to four weeks. Repeat orders shipped in two or less weeks.

Helpful Tools for Applying Waterslide Decals

T-Slide Rule To consistently position a decal in the same location on repeated objects use a flexible stainless steel T-slide rule (6"x15/32"x1/64", $2.39). Set the T-slide to measure the distance from the rim or edge of an object to the decal
Decal Squeegee To remove water and air from beneath the decal use a sixty or seventy durometer decal squeegee (2.5"x2"x.188", $4.95). Custom width available.
Decal Forceps If you are working with small decals, decal forceps are helpful when removing decals out of the water, and when placing them on a substrate. They come in either a flat thin straight blade (4.25" long, $4.19) or a flat thin bent blade (4.5" long, $4.95).
Forceps Sometimes when removing a decal from the water (if it's separated from the paper) or on placing it on a substrate, it will fold over. Forceps with a fine curved file-cut point (4.75" long, $4.59) are helpful in unfolding the decal. All three forceps are Nickel-plated, and have flat corrugated handles.

DuraFire Ink™

Our refractory marking inks are designed for your (custom) applications. We will want to know the material, at what point in the process the product will be marked (e.g. green state, wet, dried, before glaze, after glaze, bisque, after fire, etc.) how much handling and how soon after marking, firing temperature, pyrometric cone, and firing cycle? What are you doing now in marking your product, and how do you want it to change?
DuraFire™ Marking Inks are sold by the kilogram, they are easy to apply, very fluid, opaque, easy to clean up, and are a none safety hazard. Our inks are use in the refractory, electronics, glass, art, whitewares, and engineering ceramics industries.

If you have a marking problem please fill out the questionnaire and sent it to us. We also would like a sample of the body in the form at which the mark will be applied for testing. Once the marking process variables are identified and analysis we will send a sample for your testing.

Pencils and Markers

Ordering Information

1. All orders must be in full dozen increments.
2. Note: Because of the nature of manufacturing custom orders, all orders are subject to an overage or shortage shipment of 10%.
3. Copy: Copy must be legible and in type form. Layouts will be performed by the art department for best display of copy on items ordered. We prefer logos and other camera ready artwork from a PC platform and be in FreeHand, EPS with tiff view, or in printed form.
4. Artwork: We reserve the right to determine what is camera-ready artwork.
5. Imprint Colors: we offer all standard ceramic colors. If colors are not specified on the order, we will use our best judgment on the choice of colors.
6. Imprint Styles: We offer a large choice of type face styles. Because of so many generic type face names, please specify the type face name from a primary font house like Adobe or Agfa.
7. Banding: gold or ceramic color banding can be applied to all items.
8. Production Time: Normal production time is between 4 to 6 weeks.
9. Personalization: Individual names can be imprinted with standard colors or metallic gold. An alphabetical type list of names must accompany the order.
10. Proofs: Black & white paper proof or actual sample is available before production.
11. Damage Shipment: You should inspect shipment before accepting receipt of merchandise (do not refuse shipment). Damages should be noted on receipt and a claim filed immediately with carrier. Contact our Customer Service immediately for assistance.

12. Returns: Returned merchandise will not be accepted without written authorization from Innovative Ceramic Corporation.

Prepress

Camera Ready Bar Code

We require a copy of your Uniform Code Council, Inc. Membership Certificate. A brief description of the type of product, colors, sizes, number per pack, etc. of your product line for the bar code. We need to know if the bar code will be electronic rotated to fit on the package. The printers name, and the imagesetter's dpi and dot gain. The media required to transport the image e.g. paper, diskette, or e-mail, and the destination address.

Printing

Business Cards

Business cards are printed with thermography inks (raise print) as a standard. Flat printing is optional. Print quantities are 250, 500, 1000 or multiple of a 1000. There is no charge for logos. A standard 1000 card is $36.00. A proof will be provided at no charge and must be signed before printing. Business cards will be ready for pickup or shipping three days after receiving signed proof. We can print matching business cards and stationery.
Standard ink colors are: Black, 185 Red, Reflex Blue, 207 Burgundy, Process Blue, 423 Gray, 469 Brown, 320 Teal, 873 Gold, 356 Green, Violet, 151 Orange, Pink (Rhodamine Red), and 877 Silver.
Standard foil colors for foil stamping and embossing are: Gold, Silver, and Copper. Premium foil colors are: Blue, Green, Teal, Red, Purple, Yellow, Pink, and White. Holographic colors are: Blue Luster, Crystal, Digital, and Sparkle. NOTE: Holographic Foil carries an additional charge, and it should not be used for text as it will plug and fill in.

We have a large selection of card stock but only the more traditional stock is listed. Signs

Banners

Custom banners are made from heavy duty white vinyl. Banners are double hemmed around the perimeter and include grommets every five or less feet. For an additional cost a one inch webbing can be double stitched inside the hem for extra strength. Banner height range from one to six feet, and length from four to 35 feet. Standard vinyl colors are black, blue, brown, burgundy, green, magenta, pink, purple, red, and teal. Optional features include colored background, additional color letters and double sided signs. Turn around time is five working days. Ask for a quote.

Bill Board Graphics

Pigment ink printing for outdoors on tiled 36 inches wide PermaChrome WaterFast Vinyl media. We like to have the job ten working days before required pickup or shipping to help accommodate our production schedule. Minimum order is $100.00.

Corrugated Plastic

Four mm thick corrugated plastic is the economical choice for temporary signs. Can be lettered with vinyl or screen printed. Standard signs have a white background and come in the following sizes: 12"x18', 18"x24", and 24x36". Standard vinyl colors are available. A step stake is the best way to hold a corrugated plastic sign. These stakes are made with a lightweight rust-resistant steel. The stake sign holder is insert into the ground with foot pressure. The two top prongs are insert into the bottom of the corrugated sign. Turn around time is five working days for vinyl letters and three to four weeks for screen printing.

Aluminum

Forty thousands thick white coated aluminum signs are made to stand the stresses of long-term outdoor use. Use to designate handicapped parking areas, loading docks or anywhere you need a more permanent message. Can be lettered with vinyl or screen printed. Standard signs have a white background and come in the following sizes: 9"x12", 12"x18', 18"x24", and 24"x36". Standard vinyl colors are available. Optional features include colored background, additional color letters and double sided (white on back) signs. Background colors are white, black, blue, red, green, and yellow. Magnetic

Your personalized mobile marketing tool. These highly visible signs attach to most clean flat metal surfaces. Prices include two signs-one for the driver side and one for the passenger side of your vehicle. Standard signs have a white background and come in the following sizes: 9"x12",12"x18", 9"x24", 12"x24",18"x24", 24"x36".Custom sizes and color backgrounds are available. Vinyl letters include white, black, red, blue, green, orange, yellow, brown gray and gold. Single sign is priced at 65% of pair. Signs will be ready for pickup or shipping in five working days. Pressure Sensitive Vinyl Graphics

Standard letter colors are black and white and are used where no background is supplied. They are pre-spaced, ready to install. Optional features include vinyl colors, reflective and mirrored, and translucent vinyl. Letter size up to 22". Turn around time is five working days. Minimum order is $20.00.
